The Atlantic 31 was designed to take short journeys, for 2 or 3 days. The yacht can sleep 4 people. It has two small cabins, consisting one small cabin with bed space for two people and a single "saloon" with bed space also for two people.
Clever use of ergonomics allows space in the saloon for a galley (kitchen), seating, and navigation equipment. There is limited space for stores of water and food.
